Enterprise AI tool pricing in the UK
UK firms buying AI assistants mostly choose between four products: Claude from Anthropic, ChatGPT from OpenAI, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Gemini in Google Workspace. This page puts their business plans side by side, with the date each price was last checked against the vendor’s own pricing page.
Anthropic, OpenAI and Google list prices in US dollars, so we show the dollar price as listed and an approximate sterling figure with the exchange rate and its date. Microsoft lists sterling prices for the UK, excluding VAT, and we show those as listed.

Microsoft's prices exclude VAT and are paid on top of a Microsoft 365 licence, except the Business Premium bundle. Google's prices include the Workspace suite itself. Claude Enterprise adds usage at API rates to the seat fee.
How to choose
Start from where your documents and email already live
Copilot and Gemini earn their price by working inside the suite you already run: Copilot reads your Outlook, Teams and SharePoint, and Gemini reads Gmail, Docs and Drive. A Microsoft 365 firm that buys Gemini, or a Workspace firm that buys Copilot, pays for a second suite to get that grounding.
Buy Claude or ChatGPT for the model, not the suite
Claude and ChatGPT sit alongside either suite and connect to it through connectors. Firms choose them when the quality of the answers on long documents, analysis or code matters more than living inside Outlook or Gmail. Many firms end up with one suite assistant for everyone and one of these for the teams that push hardest.
Check the seat ceiling before you choose a plan
Each business tier stops at a headcount: Claude Team at 150 people, ChatGPT Business at 200 employees, and the Microsoft and Google business plans at 300 users. Past the ceiling you move to an enterprise contract, which changes the price, the billing and the admin controls at the same time.
Model the usage, not only the seats
Claude Enterprise bills usage at API rates on top of the seat fee, and OpenAI offers credit and token pricing on Enterprise. For a large rollout the usage line can outgrow the seat line, so ask for usage reporting and spend caps before signing.
Price the rollout as well as the licence
A licence nobody uses is the most expensive line on the invoice. The firms that see a return pick a few workflows, train people on them and measure the time saved. Rolling these tools out is what AiRE, our AI rollout engine, does.

Each month we read every vendor's own pricing page, update any figure that has moved, and record the change with its date on the vendor's page. A price the vendor does not publish is marked as not published rather than estimated. Sterling figures for dollar prices use the European Central Bank reference rates on the date shown.
