Text-to-image is a class of generative AI system that turns a written description into a picture. Built on diffusion and transformer architectures, these systems produce marketing and advertising assets, product design prototypes and visual concepts that previously needed a designer and a photo shoot.
In practice
The cost of a first draft image falls close to zero, which moves the constraint from production to selection and brand control. Settle the licensing and provenance position before the volume arrives: who owns the output, what the model was trained on, and whether generated images have to be disclosed as such.
